The Kalamata olive variety is one of the most popular varieties with designation of origin. It is mainly cultivated in Southern Greece, in the prefecture of Messenia, but also in Laconia, Aetolia-Acarnania, Phthiotis and Chalkidiki.<\/p>\n

They are known for their almond shape and shiny deep black colour.<\/p>\n
